Product Reviews For Kenwood KFC-1379ie

I bought these to replace my stock speakers and they do a good job however I spent a little over 100 bucks for them and they are very clear, but when the volume is high or a song with heavy bass kicks in they are easily distorted

Very clear speakers. I got them for the rear deck of a 1986 Honda Prelude. I ran them off a blaupunkt deck until the car died a year after I installed them. They can't handle much bass, but they have good SQ until the bass distort at higher lvls. The tweeters can be harsh too. these sound great with a sub, or some bigger speaker that can cover the lower frequencies.
