I had a Kicker KX600.1 and thats nothing comapeared to this I recomend it to anyone looking for loud contious bass
This is by far the best amp i have ever owned. It puts out more power than you probably need but it dishes out crisp clean comtinuous bass 24/7.
I just got this amp for x-mas and i will have to say i love it. It puts out more than enought power and dishes out a crisp clean sound. Every body that hears my system is impressed.
I think that it's great for running 3 JL's. Everyone thinks that I have more watts than it says. I had it in my Grand-Am and it pushed out more power than I thought it would.The bass is pretty good for what Audiobahn has to dish out. But, its not that bad.
I have one of these amps pushing a Pioneer Premier 2000spl, and this thing is loud. Puts out plenty of power and it's always stayed cool on me even in florida heat. Sound is clean considering i've got an Spl sub. Plus the blue lights on it are awesome. I recommend this amp to anyone who needs, or wants alot of bass. Peace
2 of these run 4 kicker L5's in my friends car and the bass is unbeleivable! Unfortunetly one of the amps has an internal problem which is being solved by audiobahn right now. But overall, getting mono amps is the way to go!
sounds great but keep it away from all alternate grounds, aka the trunk lid or anything at all metal, if it pushes about half power with metal touchin it it is prone to making some cool firework displays... i blew one off the screw mounts because it was too close to my trunk lid at full power
SOunds pretty good and looks sharp but don't hook this up to a big load. i have it powering a 1006t and it tends to overheat and shutoff after about 15 minutes on max volume. the noice from the fan is also kinda annoying when ur music isn't loud
This is by far the best amp i have ever had in my vehicle.The sound is amazing for the price.Audiobahn has delivered to us loud music lover's a best buy,and i Thank them.
all i gotta say is this amp is throwed i hooked it up to my infinitys references and people are amazed they think i got two 15s or 3 12s. if u need a amp thats powerful and cheap this is what u talkin bout
this is agood amplifier i have it powering 2 10 kicker comp and it hits but it cuts off after ahour of abuse over all great amp for the money
This is a good amp. With features like a cooling fan, chrome plating and neon. I dont think the amp put out 800 watts but still very good power. I have it conected to 1 kicker L5 15" and its so lould i can bearly hear the music. The sound quality is not very good but still ok. And with a good price of $120-$150 its a great pick for a buget system
I bought this amp over 20 mths ago and it still kicks booty so it's loud reliable and it looks good.
Its really Loud hooked up to my 10" alpine type R, impresses everyone that rides, overheats on hot days, but its still a great amp for the money
this is one hell of an amp. i have seriously tried out many many amps and if you were to listen to one review, it would be this one... people say that this amp doesnt produce 800 watts because its audiobahn, yes their subs are not my choice but this amp is great. their intake series amps (a8002t, a8000t) put out 800 watts. in fact, i benched it and it came out to put out 810 watts at 2 ohm at 14.4 volts and the same at 13.4 at 12 volts the amp benched 789. so this proves that this puts out the power now for overheating... i have never had mine over heat and i have ran my music in 100 + degree temperatures. The amp does get warm to hott, but has never overheated once on me. Make sure that you mount the amp in a place where it will get efficient air supply so the fan will help the amp get cool and stay that way. make sure you get a 4 awg amp install kit and your on ur way. great amp. you can e-mail me with an question @ dl_blazer@yahoo
This amp kicks butt, anyone who has blown speakers or overheated has forgotten impeadance rules, I have blasted my 2 A8000T's connected to mt 2 ALUM15's with a/c running and windows down all this summer so far no fail blasting the crap out of my subs, awsome bass just awsome!
first off i would like to emplane why i did not give this amp a perfect rating... b.c no amp is perfect but this one is close. i have messed with a couple of different brands of amps and have usually be disappointed with audiobahn until recently. i had built a box for a 12" dual 2ohm L7(new verison) and wired the terminals for 1ohm. we got it all hooked up and it slams. alot louder than his 15" L5(old version) in a similar box wired at 2ohms on this amp. long story short this amp has been running at 1ohm stable for 6 months now no problems.
i bought one for my g/f last year and after being in the car audio buisness for over 16 years, this has to be one of the strongest amps i have ran across for the amount of money, its a very strong amp, and never had one bit of trouble out of it, excepts it likes to heat up my fuse block, maybe i should get a qaulity fuse block, but other than that, its freakin awsome, cant say enough about this amp, now if they sold it for the MSRP price, yeah i wouldnt recommend it, but at this price its the bomb.
This amp is a great buy espically for the price I have it pushing a 12" Alpine sub and the power it puts out is great can't beat it deffinalty recomend this amp to anybody who wants alot fo power for a great price
Not a bad amp for the money, used it a couple of years pushing 2 10" JL W0's. After about a year and half the fan started making noise. Only shut off a couple of times on long trips (like over 3 hours at max volume). Replaced the amp with a JL 500 mono amp and put the Audiobahn in storage for about 1 1/2 years and just threw it in a Jeep wrangler for kicks. Found a replacement fan on a computer parts site, should arrive next week. Hopefully it will work.
i have this amp its pushing 2 12" kicker comps and you cant even sit in my truck b/c its soooo loud.. I have the system in a 2006 ford ranger ext cab.. and you cant beat the audiobahn amps this is my 2nd one and i love them
I got this amp in 2004 and put it on two Cerwin Vega VMAX 15".My box was a custom build slot port. I blew 1 sub after about 6 months. Replaced it and tested at 145db. I ran this setup in a 94 Suburban til 2007. Now I have the same amp on 1 L5 12 in a crappy box.Still powers the hell out of it. I'm about to put that amp on 4 Kicker CVR 12's. I can't complain if the amp died shortly after!!
