Product Reviews For Audiobahn AW1051T

  • I had two of these running off of a 2000 watt boss amplifier. They hit ok, they never distorted, but never really got any louder, even when put on a alphasonik amplifier, if your looking for SPL, these arent it, if you are looking for SQ, then maybe these are for you. I could only hit around 112 with these subs in a dual ported box tuned to 35hz. Sound even better with a capacitor on the amp, but these subs arent what I expected. I recently bought two Diamond Audio CM3 12", and they POUND! If you arent super crazy for bass / SPL like I am, then these subs are ok.

  • these are over priced and over rated. i have a cheap 500watt amp hooked up to these and the amp is hardly on and they still distort. but when every they are softer they sound ok but they are not worth much at all!

  • Well the key to this sub is box and box tuning. Without that this sub will not sound correct. You can not put this sub in any box. You must use a ported box with a port depth of about 8 inches. it will sound wonderful

  • I have two of these in a bandpass enclosure, i was actually surprized that they gave out some pretty straight bass for being in a bandpass. i recommend these for people who want short, punchy bass.

  • I have found nothing wrong with these subwoofers. Very good sound quality and awesome price. You can achieve excellent bass out of them if you have them in a sealed box. Mine are in a sealed box I can't see out the rear view mirror when driving my Grand Cherokee, ha ha.

  • these subs are in a small sealed box in a extra cab ford on a 800 watt audiobahn amp at 2 ohms and they slam. Put a good amp on them and be prepared to piss your neighbors off!

  • I am the fifth owner of a pair of these, I built a spec. sealed box and hooked up a cheap 600 watt jensen amp. 6 police warnings later and I was hooked, it wasn't even a perment setup but it is now, THEY POUND!! In my 99 Blazer.

  • i have two of these running on a sony xplod 1000 watt amplifier(crap)bridged into 4 ohms, they sound really really good for the price way more than i expected. i first had them in a bandpass and they sounded really crappy, only hit high bass no lows at all. then i put them in a sealed box and they sound really good. exxcellent lows. so with these subs use a sealed or ported enclosure and put a good amp on them, and theyll sound great

  • These subs do there job for the price. I put in bandpass box and they bang. Even tho their rms is 300watt. they handle alot more than that. I put 1500 at 2ohm load. They could handle more than that.

  • I had 1 of these in a large sealed box made for a much bigger sub when i first got it, it did not hit hard or sound good, but when i put it a ported box made for the sub it got very loud and sounded very clean. I have it hooked to a 200 rms audiobahn amp

  • I recently purchased two of these and had them installed in a sealed box with an American Pro 800 watt amp and when I got home, I had the neighbors calling and complaining these subs sound great with good clean bass some of the best I have ever heard.

  • I put a pair of these in a bandpass that has definitely seen better days, mated to my trusty old Sony Xplod 1100 watt amp... and they sound great. They perform above and beyond my expectations, crushing my old Pioneers with a much smoother and harder hitting bass. Kiss your hearing goodbye.

  • I bought two of these and put them in a sealed box in my yukon hooked up to an MTX Audio TA5302 amp. I did not like the way these sounded in my yukon, they sounded really bad.. So I decided to give them away to my dad he has them in a GMC Sierra truck. Now, in his truck they sound NICE! So I only recommend these to people with trucks, small vehicles and bandpass boxes.

  • audiobahn subs are some of the best on the market, they are good clean deep hard hitting subs, but you need the right tools for them, such as sub zero enclosers, and very high powered true rms rated amps to run them proper.
