  • These subs have a lot of boom to them. I got them in a ported box. It makes my 87 Crown Vic rumble. I need some better tweeters and 6x9s now.

  • Good sub. Doesn't hit the lows very well. At least not good enough for me. But still gets plenty loud. Good sub for moderate bass lovers.

  • This is a good speaker. Even better if you can find them on sale. I have two of these wired down to a one ohm load, and I am pushing them with a one ohm stable mono block at about 1200 watts RMS. These are comparable to RF P2s(the new ones, the old old ones kicked these speakers butt.), better than c15-4 etc. They are in a sealed box with about 1.8^3 feet per speaker and they do get loud. With little distortion, these make my CD player skip really bad in my Jeep. Grant it, this is a 15 incher. And one 15 inch sub has about the same cone area as two 10 inch subs. So of course they are loud. The SQ isn't there for obvious reasons, and the low tones aren't either, but that is to be expected coming from an inexpensive speaker. I've paid the same for other 15's, ones that were only 200 watts RMS and they hit every note, especially the low lows, like a champ...AND WERE JUST AS LOUD... old school rf's. If the box was ported, im sure these audiobahns would be louder. But, you would have one note hitters. Its best to keep them in a large sealed box, and please give the more than 2.5^ feet for each speaker. Also give them the power they need, at least 300 RMS. If you wanna jam, 500.

  • I like audiobahn. i had two 12's (the 1251t series) in a ported box with a lanzar vibe258 1600 watt amp pushing them in a series wired 2 ohm load. the rms was about 600 (which was too high but i like pushing the limit on every thing i hook up) and they took the beating without a problem. now im bout to buy these 15" subs and put them in a custom built box for my 94 crown victoria.my plan is to install 2 of these bad boys but i might go with 3 depending on how i feel.
