i have had this sub for 2 hard years of pounding and it sounds even better than when I bought it
I have one Alum 12 in the back of my toyota 4runner with a 1200 watt mono amp rnning it and it hits very very hard, i hit a 145.1 at a local sound off
i have an extended cab chevy s10 ls 1995,with 1 12 inch alum with 1 1800 watt mono class d amp (audiobahn) and this sub is very clear and very loud.the best catergory is very deep bass infact. the guy above me has 300 wats on each,that explains why his subs sound like crap. i compared this sub to my freinds 2 12 infinity kappa perfects on the same amp in the same truck,and the alum is comparably loud.the sound quality is better in my mind,and the high frequencies dont get all crazy,where as kappa perfects get annoying with high pitch bass. the alum has a very "warm" sound to it,and deep bass wise it was MUCH better than the kappa perfects. i recoment this sub to anybody who wants a perfect sub for the money,also this sub out performs subs twice its price -the alum out performs audiobahns top of the line linear compression,with deeper bass much better sound quality,and even loud ness.
This is by far one of the best subs, to get with out spending alot of cash, you get these of ebay for like $100, but anyways i have 2 of these in a 96 caprice, each hooked up to a 2000 watt 2-channel in a 0.8 cubic box, and these subs BANG, and there deep
i bought one of these and hooked it up to my directed usa 500 watt mono channel amp in a 99 s10 stnd cab and i won 4 sound comps already very nice sub im think im about buyin 4 more for my car...
I got Audiobahn Alum 12Q hoocked up to an Audiobahn 1600W Amp and it's the best bass I've ever had. Outperforms JL, Infinity, Planet Audio, Eclipse (which by the way are made by Fuji). Best subs for the price (I paid $100 by the way). Monster sound and a nice deep bass. Would recommend these to everyone. Make sure u got a good alarm 'cause they'll be stolen! They look and perform like no other subs.
I have 2 of these subs in my neon, and they are being powered by a 2400 watt pyle amp. The amp is really cheap and for the quality of the amp these subs pound hard! I can only imagine what they would sound like with a better amp. I am upgrading my amp to a A2300HCT 2 channel audiobahn amp. These subs hit and they HIT HARD!!!!
these subs are great i just bought two of them got a very good deal on them to. I have them wired parelle at 1 ohm to a audiobahn 1300hct mono amp. I am wating for summer to hook them up but with two deep cycle batteris and 1200 watts at 1ohm i think it will sound really good i already have a good rockford head unit but im thinking of going all audiobahn. Trust me i have been buying all audiobahn amps and subs for the last two years and everything they make is graet i have had no problems with them all and all im very happy. Keep reping audiobahn
These speakers are great. I have two of them in my 96 ranger with only a 600 watt amp and they still bang hard.
I have two of these hooked up to a memphis 1000D bridged at 1.5ohms and they pound, no distortion, and deep tight bass. These subs are perfect for anyone,you can't go wrong.
These are the best speakers Ive ever had but to comment to maxima ride, you were right, mine got stolen... Ive had eclipse aluminums,crossfire, different audiobahns, mtx, all kind of subs and the were the best, I got mine brand new for about $80 a piece off ebay...
I upgraded from 2 10" MTXs to one alum12Q. Mine's being pushed by a 1600 watt sony amp. Built my box custom and this thing rocks my nissan 240sx. You can feel your hair move on half power and your ears start to hurt. I love watching people stare at my car going by!
I bought a pair of these and had a blitzaudio 2400 amp pushin em an they suck.. i don't know if it was the box or what, but i wouldn't get em again!
I have a 93 Silverado w/ extended cab. I have removed my back seat and built a custom box for two of these subs. Each sub has 2.75 cubic ft. of air volume and each sub has two 4" ports. I have a Sony CDX-F7710, Boss E/Q, two 1700watt Kenwood 9120D amps, two 2 farad caps. I have each sub at 3ohm bridged, each sub on its own amp. I have blown away many many a cars with my clear deep rich bass. Don't listen to the fools, Audiobahn rocks. Save your money and buy these you will not be dissapointed. My truck has hit 138db at audio comps., while driving I wear hunting ear plugs. You want a real sub, get this.
I bought two of these subs, sealed em in a 2.5 cubic foot box, ran em off hifonics 3200 rms colossus amp. WOW... never did get a mic in my car and see how loud it actualy was but it hurt to sit in the car. these subs performed amazingly good i was putin 95V to each sub when they were in a box before they smoked. and if u have seen mtx smokin the comp vid comparable jl and kickers smoked at 102, and 106 but thats out of a box. The JL 10w7 cost $500, and kicker cost $250, this audiobahn cost only $140! All three of those subs specs are very close except for the price. If you want a good solid bass for cheap these are the subs for you.
i have two of these subs hooked up to a Audiobahn A2200HCT 2 channel amp and it sets off alarms like nothing. my friends wont sit in my back seat because of them.... my nissan pathfinder bumps down the street and i suggest the ALUM12Q to every1 who is looking to save money and sound nice

I have 2 ran by an pyramid 1200x4 amp bridged and they sound really good. I get good deep bass, they dim my lights when they hit. I cant wait until I get my 5 farad capacitator, and 2ch amp 1920w amp, both by Power Acoustik. I might have to get an new trunk...lol...
i have 2 in my single cab 03 silverado in a custom fiberglass center console and with my windows up can blow my windows out hits got a bd 1000 rockford amp going to each
You need to have alot of power and a big box for these. I have a 1000w mono amp on each of my 2 12's each in a 2cu.ft. box in my corolla. Bass hits so hard it's hard to breath and see, the guy with the small 300w amp is probably cranking it to where the power output is distorted and it will destroy his woofers sooner or later. IF YOU GOT IT CRANK IT!!!!!
I have had 2 twelves Volfenhagenz 1000W each, running of memphis 1000d in PT Cruiser and now I have these hooked 2 the same amp and.......the windsheld crack is getting real annoying.They hit so hard that my vision is getting bloory while driving.Wanna good subs 4 not a lot money- GET THEM.
this sub is amazing. i have a 2200 watt kenwood amp hooked up to 2 of them and it literaly cracked my back winshield in a 2002F:150. I had 2 12 inch kenwoods and those dont even compare. awsome sub. 7 disturbing the peace tickets,!!
Man, I got three of these puppies in the trunk of my 2002 Focus hooked up to a JBL GTO 1201.1 mono class D amp. Let me tell you...that's some serious BASS!!! My trunk and quarter panels shake and rattle so bad it looks and feels like their going to come off! I got the whole trunk lined with heavyduty Dynamat and even that doesn't help much with the rattles! I recommend these to anyone who wants a super great sub for an awesome price. As long as you got the right amp these sub's will blow your mind!!!
I've just installed my new sub,and must say it blew me away.My exPowerAcoustic sub went up in smoke 1 week after i got it,and doesn't even come close to the performance of this product.Great buy for any one who enjoy's a body massage while driving about.The bass will do that for you.
i have 2 of these in my yukon and they really hit hard and the sound quality is great they hit every note. also they make my ears hurt. the price and sub are perfect.
I have these speakers in an 03 nissan altima and a 2400 watt audiobahn amp. I had them wired t0 1.3 ohms which is as low as you can get. I had the amp bridged and the subs sounded great all the way up to the time they fried. I would suggest getting the 1100 watt flame Q's.
i had 2 alum12Q series subs ran paralel in a spec box with 1600 rms watts runing both then one day i heard distortion i took both speakers out and the voice coils ripped where they meet the cone i like the speakers but i am cought i will send them back get new ones then i will see what happens then
I have 4 of these speakers in an 05 grand prix on a 2000 watt mtx amp.They really hit hard and the sound quality is great because they hit every note.

i have had alot of subs but i must say for the money these are awesome... ive had em for a couple years and the quality hasnt changed... ive got 4 in a ported box in a ford explorer and the bass is amazing... no one around my place comes close to the sound...
I have two of these in my ford escape and they slam hard. i have a 1800 watt kenwood pushing these baby's. audiobahn is the way to go. overall one hell of a sub. very pleased with onlinecarstereo to, great place to buy from.
I just got these. they are in the back of my 78lincoln with a 1600.1 cadence amp. anyone who knows there cars knows that car is all metal. the trunk moves like paper when i turn it all the way up I hate they went outta buisness
I just got a pair of these and let me say I'm really impressed. I'm running a pair with an MTX 81000D amp at 1.5 ohms and they flat pound! I've had 4 different sets of subs on this amp and these are hands down the best. Since they aren't available new anywhere find some online and grab em, you won't regret it!!
This sub's are amazing, I have two still and only install when I go to auto show, the sound is fantastic and not require expensive equipment as amplifiers. If can send me pictures or videos for installing this subs in a dodge dakota 1997 I will be grateful. thanks.
