The first Alpine head unit I have owned, and I will by Alpine again. Great with my MTX 2-channel amp, makes music sound great. Worth the price. This deck was also easy to install. Good deal.
This head unit is very much what Alpine charges. I have used many head units and I even own a car audio company. This unit is worth every cent. Sound is amazing and for a basic unit it is unmatched.

Makes stock speakers sound 100 times better. When after market speakers are added, it really shines. Many features, and easy to use, understand, and install. Built like a rock, and the clarity is awesome, as well as the power for the price. Recommmend 100%
Great for XM. Bought this for IPOD control. Better than anything else available, but not very flexible for searching music. Frustrating. Better to wait for next Generation.
i have a 9827 which is the same except it has a remote and blue illumination. I'm very satisfied; easy to use, good power, and reliable
