I made the mistake of not buying Alpine. This is a nice deck...when it works. That's why it gets a 3 overall. From the first week it started to make motor noises when you put the disc in. After 3 times to sony, it started again. I finally gave up and just spent the extra money and bought my Alpine(should have done that in the beginning). I have never had a problem with Alpine and the sound is much better than anything else I've heard with the possible exception of Naac. By the way this is not the first sony product I've had prblems with in the last couple of years.
