Product Reviews For Sony CDX-F7705X

  • Real nice stereo. Would like to see some more or better animations. The blue buttons are more purple than blue. Love the MP3 feature. Overall good stereo but there are better ones out there.

  • This cd player is loaded. The DSO, BBE, EQ7 and bass/treble adjustments allow me to tweak each song to its best. The sound from this thing is really clear and clean. The High Pass Filter keeps those VERY low frequencies from entering my 6x8 speakers, while the highs scream from my tweeters. It looks great with my all black interior. At night, it emits a purple-ish blue color..looks cool. I can power my 8 factory speakers and still have the 3 pre-outs available. I paid $250 for my last mp3 player last year, and it wasnt nealry as powerful and clean as this. At 80 mph with the top down, the sound is loud and clean at only 50-60% volume. The only complaint is that the 'menu function' isnt on the unit itself..only the remote. But if you are willing to spend around 250-300, go for the 7705x!

  • The difference between this and other car stereos is unbelievable. I love the DSO option

  • I've owned 4 Sony car cd players, and this is by far the best. I bought it mainly because I love the DSO feature, which "raises up" the music, you have to hear it to believe it, and the High pass filter, which keeps my 6.5"'s from getting hurt. I turn it almost all the way up on a regular basis and it has no problem; the highs are crisp and scream, and all of the low frequencies go where they should- to my subwoofers and no where else. I've heard systems with component speakers and amplifiers just for them, and I swear this is just as loud and all I'm running is 4 high end coaxials. Great cd player, easy to use and tune to your liking, and has all the features you'll ever need.

  • Not a bad head unit. i did not like the built in amplifer sound quality, but thats why i got a head unit with 4 volt pre outs. i really liked the ease of use with all functions.

  • Great sound, 4 volt pre-out. 7 band eq. You not find too many better for the price.
