when i first got this cap it was great. The neon lights lit up and it stored power for my 400 watt amp. now that I'm pushin around 1000 watts to my subs this cap don't store enough power and the neon lights stopped lightin up after only 3 days of use. good thing it comes with a 1 year warrenty.
Brandon from SD had a wrong idea of this product, but it is a GREAT cap. His problem lies in his battery, alternator, or stock electrical system under the hood, and the dimming would be solved by upgrading the guage of the electrical system under his hood to at least 4 gauge (It's a LOT easier than you'd think.. I did it with 10 bucks and an hour of spare time). Cap's don't solve everything. But, this is a great cap for the price, and it'll do everything it is supposed to do.
Im pushin 2000 Watts with my Lanzar amp, and it solved most of my dimming problem. but i only paid $100 for mine, brand new(flea market) The Lanzar amps are no joke either. strongest cheaper amp ive ever had.
This cap is pretty good for the price. The improvent helped alot running a 2000 watt amp! Although, at high volume my volt meter still moves. Forget about the neon tubes on this cap, they only last a few days. Also it only came with 2 spade connectors, YOU NEED 3! Overall this cap is pretty good for the price.
This Cap has been in my car for almost 2 years now never any probs it's working with 2 bat. a 2400watts pushin to 12's the chrome and the neon light is a cool plus goes with he rest of the light in my truck
