  • I hope no one in there right mind would have a system big enough to need 50 farads. But hats off to lanzer for making it you guys are nutz.

  • I installed one of these in my '94 geo metro with a 3,100 watt RMS stereo. I had two hifonics 1200w RMS class D amps, one for each hifonics 12" sub, and two more amps for the other speakers. The capacitor helped stabilize the voltage, but it was not enough. The display shows amperage coming OUT of the cap. I had it reading as high as 302 amps. I added a 145 amp alternator to the car (in addition to what it already had), and 3 optima red top batteries. After that the display hardly turned on. It makes for a VERY nice power distribution block with 0 gauge inputs and 4 gauge outputs. It does help deliver instant power to the amps.
