These speaks sound great and are well worth the money. They supply a wide range of frequencies and the acoustics are great. I am very happy with these components, buy them you will not be dissapointed......
The mids sounds great but the tweeters are physically weak. I have gone through 3 tweeters and I am not blasting them.
These are great speakers when they work right. I have had two tweeters go out and now one is putting out staitic when I turn it up a little. I am planning to get some Alpine Type R's, Boston Acoustics or maybe Diamond Audio.

Bought 2 sets of these after I roasted the stock paper cups in an 02 Jetta. I said before that I liked the Diamond M661's...after hearing these, they are easily side by side. I'm running a 4-ch 1200w MA class A/B to them, so probably about 200 RMS with the gain control cranked. I have been trying my best to bust these but they won't quit. Unfortunately, the price shot back up on them. Good component speaker, easily better than Quarts, my opinion though.
