I have 2 12" jl audio subs w0's two 6x9 mb quart discuss speakers and 2 4in mb quart speakers and mb quart tweeters and i love mb quart sound quality and i dont even have them amped! subs are pushed by memphis amp 150rms to each sub. I really think you should look into mb quart speakers they sound clean and poweful great buy!!!i especially like them because they sound awsome by themselves when my subs are off!!i do wonder how they sound amped? hmmm? payday is just around the corner :)
sound quality is awsome, bass is very good, highs are super clear and crisp and vocals are very realistic. The looks could be better but sound quality out performs ANY infinity, jl or pioneer speakers. i have compared them all side by side, MB quarts came out on top!
I have thes 6x9's hucked up to a hifonics amp that puts out 50 wats rms to them. thes are the only highs that I have runing in my GTI. they sound great. they are loud and crisp. the highs cut right through the base of my 2 MTX 7500 10" subs. I have not herd aney spekers that even come close.
Very sound speakers... just remember that if your gonna run these make sure they are amped because its a waste to run them off of your deck.
