Great Amp for the money. Runs a little hot, but has never shut off due to heat. Great amp for driving small to medium size subwoofers
Tends to run hot when you push it, but has never shut down. It is bridged to a 280 watt Mtx 10 inch sub. Really have enjoyed this amp.
The Falcon is a powerful amp. The crossover features on this amp are alsovery flexible. You can pretty much do anything with this amp. It'll do mids/highs duties on a pair of coaxials or components. It will run a single woofer in bridged mode (4 ohm) or a stereo pair of DVC woofers. In short, it's flexible. Not to mention it's very compact in size. I was also amazed at the sound quality this amp is capable of. Running mids/highs, the sound is clean and uncolored. Very, very minimal distortion. Bass notes are tight, controlled and powerful. Will it play deep bass? Oh yeah! Amazing amp! The only negative I can say about this amp is the heat it generates. By far, it's the hottest (heatsink) running amp I've owned in 22 years of car audio experieince. I attribute this to it's high output power and small physical chassis size. I would suggest keeping the Falcon cool if you have it installed in a tight spot. Even if not in a tight spot, you should consider this. Pound for pound, this amp pounds! Well worth the money it's being sold for by onlinecarstereo.
