I have this 4 channel amp hooked up to my speakers. It is a great little amp, and provides plenty of power for the price. 50 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms is plenty to make most speakers scream.
I don't know how that did it. But small size and big performance actually exist. Why can't anyone else engineer a compact amp. Great product. Great performance. Quality product
The HiFonics Eagle is a mighty might. It has 4 channels of flexible, clean and powerful amplification. It's also compact in physical size. This ws a big selling point for me becasue I needed an amp that was small enough to fit under a seat. I am suprised at how cool it runs as well. It's currently running a pair of Infinity component speakers on channels 1-2. Channels 3-4 are bridged to a single 10" single voice coil woofer. The output of the system in this configuration is balalnced. Mids/Highs blend in well with the bass. The power output of the Eagle in this mode is right on target. Wire connections are solid and controls are marked with easy to read/understand silk screening. What about sound quality? Well, it's top notch. No shortcuts were taken in this department. Background "hiss" is non-existant in my system. There's also no motor noise. Highs are crisp and detailed. Vocals are smooth. Midbass is punchy and bass is tightly controlled. I suggest picking this amp up. Onlinecarstereo has a great deal on a great amp. Don't miss out!
