If you're looking for replacement speakers that sound pretty good, these will work. I have a pair in the back of my 300zx. The high end is okay, but the low end is good for the price. I liked how you can mount them - Coaxial, or component - and they give you the hardware. Overall, a good speaker for the price.
These sound damn good! And for the price! You cant beat it, this is one of the best speaker sets out there! I would put these up against some alpine S series any day of the week!
I Installed a 62q in two boxes. and hooked them up to a total mobile audio 320w 2/1,amp behind the seat of my truck. And I swear they are like woofers. I could not beleave they sound so GOOD! beside the kenwwood 4" up front I don't need nothing else. they rock.
I got eight of these in my 99 ranger and it is the loudest truck on the block...My mids and highs are louder than most peoples whole systems. Make sure you get an amp that has plenty of power...the more wattage the better they sound!!!
Good speakers at a very reasonable price. I don't know for sure how these compare to Alpines or RF but I had some MB Quart Discus 6-1/2" coaxials and these outperform them in every way at half the cost. They include most required hardware, but be wary of the screws they give you. I was surprised by the bass response from these speakers and the volume they can attain before distortion, even running with just the head-unit's power. If they can get better than this with an amp, I don't know what I'll do with myself. Terrific value. My only complaint is that one of the tweeters didn't work straight out of the box. I tried to contact Audiobahn to no avail...
