Product Reviews For Alphasonik PMZ12005A

  • I have been in car audio for about 15 years. This is one of the cleanest sounding amps I have used. For the money you just can't get any better. This amp has plenty of power to drive any system. Very adjustable to tweak the sound on all channels. If you are looking for an amp to drive your system with crystal clear sound and plenty of head room then this is the one for you.

  • An awesome amp for the price. This amp has plenty of power to push some subs and the sound quality is great with mids and highs. Alphasonik amps are some of the best in the market in my opinion.

  • I have had this amp since early 2003, still pumping out good tunes, very clear, and very decent price for the sound you get, my new car is getting another one of these right away!

  • To think something of this quality for this price. For what you pay for on this amp i can't think of anything to truly top it! You got full tweaking controls on it, its easy to use, and can make any system sound incredible. This is especially perfect for people that don't have high budgets but want something to work their system. I would suggest this amp to anyone. Btw i am running Diamond Audio 6 1/2 D6 in the front doors and memphis audio 4x6 in the back. The sub is a Memphis Audio Mclass 10" sitting in a super bass pro box in my truck. This amp is just enough to make this system sound perfect. Thank you Alphasonik for making such an incredible amp at a very reasonable price..

  • Bought this amp as a "cheap" all-in-one for 2nd car and I was delighted with everything about it. Crystal clear highs, solid mids and nice clear, loud bass. I would recommend this amp to anyone that wants an easy install and very good performance but not quite for competition.

  • Bought this amp to power a rather esoteric sound system. Sony's component ribbon set-up and LAT-25 woofers. The crossover capabilities of this amp allowed for perfect tuning of each speaker and the sound staging is tremendous. The dynamics are excellent. Too bad I don't have another car to be putting a stereo in, I like this set-up better than anything else I've put together before.

  • A great amp for the money. I've had it for years and all was great untill the dual built in fuse holder got toasted cause the fuses melted in it. That's right, melted. I had the factory 30 amp fuses in it that came with it. Why didn't the fuses just blow? Good question... wish I knew the answer. They melted and one of the fuse tabs on each fuse welded itself into the fuse holder. Each fuse came out with only one tab on it. (After pulling really hard). I had to pull the amp, take it apart and remove the dual fuse holder. Now I hope I can get a new part from the manufacturer. We'll see... I can only guess that the connection between the fuse tab and the holder wasn't rated high enough to carry the 30 amp load. I may investigate a 25 amp fuse FastBlo or use the 30 in a FastBlo instead. I miss this amp already. It was the perfect match for my 4 Polk component and 2x12 sub.
