I had this stereo in a pickup truck and I sold it with the truck. Biggest mistake of my life!!! The 5 band EQ made it really easy to fix the sound problems you experience in a pickup cab. All my friends said my stereo sounded better than theirs! buy one now!!!
This head unit is one of the best out their. The 5 band equalizer enables you to make even a low watt system sound like a much more expensive high watt system. The only draw back is that it is a little complex to set up the equalizer and that on high watt speakers, does not give them enough power in the low end. If you do go with this system I would recomend velocity series by Blaupunkt, ony thing by Orion, MTX, and Pheonix Gold.
I had bought this and put it in my 85 Mercedes big body and it rocked!!!!!!! Biggest issue is that I sold it with the car, what a mistake!! Live and learn by others mistakes and hold on to this one, well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
