i have the pair of these custom mounted in the back deck of a 2000 camrey and wow do they add the midbass. i was figuring it would add the bass of another set of 6x9's but it added the bass of a decent 10 or 12 much more than i expected. the sq is pretty good for a free-air install, but i'm betting they'd sound better in a box, but i'm happy with what i have. infinity kappa 6 3/4 up front and jbl power series 6x9's in back, have a kicker 350.4 powering the speakers. and an old KX 200.2 on these, and i'm pretty happy if n e thing all i would add would be a single 12" comp vr on a kicker 400 watt mono, but that is just hopes for the future. overall this is a great set of subs as long as ur not expecting huge bass, but instead enough bass to fill out the music spectrum.
Running these speakers for midbass in a 2005 mustang and they fit perfectly and sound great for shallow mount speakers. I have them paired with alpine type R components for mids and highs feeded by a rockford power 4004. Highly recommend these speakers if you have tight places to fit speakers into.
Good midbass speaker,expanded the sound stage in my corolla S.Speakers tend to bottom out at moderate volume even with a kicker active crossover.Still the price is great if you want that midbass kick to fill out your music spectrum.
