this woofer is heavy as a person, it will get up there with the w7 with the right setup, pure SPL
These subwoofers are worth a lot of money but once you get it you can feel the power. The bass hits hard and go deep but they are spl not sq.
Well im not sure what i was thinking when i bought two of these monsters but i did. I hooked up each sub to a Premier PRS-D5000spl amplifier. These were placed in the back of my 2004 explorer. After then install was finsihed we had to tune it at my freinds car audio shop. And when we first got it goin, holy S%*@ was it loud. We craked my back window before shutting it off. This was all done outside of the car. These subs are monsters, they flat out stomp the JL w7, MTX 9500, or kicker solo X 12 inch. And ive got two of these. i didnt even need two, too many ticket's and headaches. I hit around the 150 range in a competition i entered. If you are planing to buy one of these make sure you love bass, because these subs crank it out like mad.

this is an overall incredible product but you need to understand its not for sound quality its for straight up in your face spl
I have 4 of these in the back of my blazer and these things are SO LOUD i have broke my back window 3 times.
