  • i actually posted this in the wrong sopt dfirst time round... I actually have these, the two ways... I bought them for 125 locally and needed more power...they do fit PERFECT in my 01 gmc Z71....but lacked power... I just bought premier 770 and pioneer 3100 amp today and finished installing about 30 minutes ago...so unbeleivable the sound...loudness, bass, and quality...turned all the way up, no distortion... • Installed 4 of these in an 06 GMC Sierra 4 door truck with an MB Quart 125 X 4 Amp(90 watts X 4 realistic power). These speakers sound awesome. Audio shop guy who did the install said in 15yrs he never heard a 6 1/2" coaxial speaker deliver so much mid-bass. These speakers need power to really move the woofers so dont think you can push these with a head unit and get great mid-bass, but power them with at least 60 watts each and listen to them thump. Only complaint if I wanted to be picky is the tweeters are a little shrill at high volume, but you would have to go with a more expensive speaker or a silk tweeter to change that, but that doesn't mean they don't sound good, I'm talking about if you are a true audiophile looking for top-notch sound quality. Well worth the money.
