  • Ive got 2 of these in my '97 Camaro wired to a 1200W Sony amp....and these things dont play. I had 2 of the older model 12" Xplods before these...and i blew them. These sound 3 times better and pound much harder, and the low response is amazing. For the price, these cant be beat.

  • I must say I was very skeptical about these subs... I have been shopping around and looking for the right price for a SICK custom installation... I have found it. 6 12" Xplods and 3 CRUNCH 1400 watt amps...beat out 6 Kicker 12L7 with 800 watt amps... I have 4 6x9 Sony Mids and Highs and 1 400 watt 4 channel amp...To say the least it KICKS ASS!! Sony has a lifetime customer here

  • i just put two of these in the trunk of my lumina with a 980 power acoustik pushing 220 rms to each. They sound great but they definitly want more power to get them to hit the way they can. but they are still hitting harder than phoenix golds i have. these are great.

  • I use to have 2 of these 12's in my ford mustang 00 and man I tell you what, for my first system I was impressed. I have made people go bonkers just listening to the way they sound. Hook 2 of these with a 1200 - 1400 watt sony xplod amp and your hooked!

  • These subs pound! Runnning them w/ class D Amp. Don't listen to people that knock on sony just because its easy to be on the bandwagon. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

  • Dollar for dollar, these are the best subs ever made for a budget minded sub shopper. Best sub on the market for under $100.00. I have one in a sealed box I lined with Accumat, pushed by a Dual 2460 amp which bridged puts out 300 rms watts. I really think a sealed enclosure is the only way to go with these subs.
