i have one in my truck, this thing rocks.
I have 2 in my s-10 and just got a box made for 3 but the 2 were slaming, now I need more power
I have this sub in the kicker made box with the vent. I also have a CVR 15. This sub hits just as hard as the 15 and is more clear great buy.
Ok, hopefully you read this before you think of a JL W6 or any sub in JL lower/more expensive. I bought this sub and it pounds like crazy, awsome bass, clean, but not quite as tight as I would like. But the JL w6 is absolutley no different. I was lucky enough to put the w6(the 12in model) in my exlorer to her the difference and there was NONE. It hit exactly the same as the kicker, maybe a .1 out of 10 tighter, but other than that, the EXACT same for less than 1/2 the price. Go with kicker if you want a W6 or any other sub other than a W7. An awsome, awsome sub for the price. KICKER p.s. this is only a 10 in sub!!!!
I HAVE ONE 10 SOLO BARIC POWERED BY A 400 WATT MA AUDIO AMP( BRIDGED OF COURSE) WITH A HALF FARAND CAP KICKER MIDS AND TWEETERS RUN BY A SMALL AMP A FRIEND HAD LAYING AROUND AND WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS ONE LITTLE BASS MONSTER THIS IS A LOT OF SUB FOR A FAIR PRICE. I ONLY BOUGHT ONE CAUSE I DRIVE A FORD RANGER REG CAB, BUT NOW I AM GETTING 1 MORE 10 TO FINISH OUT THE SYSTEM THAT IS NOW BEING TRANSPLANTED INTO MY NEW CAR AND MY SUBS WILL BE POWERED BY A 900 WATT PPI AMP WITH A 1 FARAND CAP I TRADED MY MA AUDIO AMP FOR. WHAT A WONDERFUL LAND WE LIVE IN TO LET US LIVE LOUD...
I have 4 of these in a escort station wagon with 3200 watts running them, and I will tell you they pound hard. The cops have pulled me over I don't know how many times 'cause of them feelin' it a block away! For the money they are worth the investment, if you supply the right amount of power they are a good choice!!
i had one of these in a compation box powered by a 600 watt legacy amp in the back of my ranger and it pounded so hard everyone thought i had to 12's and the sound quality was awsome, if you want a sub that really hits hard with good sq this is the sub for you
I have one of these powered by a 1000 watt sony amp and no one belived it was one 10" until i lift up my seat, this thing pounds i cant see out of any of my mirrors because they just vibrate
