This a great sub. It hits hard and has a massive excursion. Does distort at high volume. Overall a great buy and hopfully not deaf by 30.
want some bass? you need this sub i have 2 12's hooked up to diamond audio 1000w amp...they hit freakin hard, my windshield wipers vibrate off the window. the only thing wrong is i have a 99 gmc sierra ext cab...so i don't have a big box too get all the bass from these monsters.
i have two of these they slam. just make sure you out them in a big ported box if you want to full affect
These are one of Diamond's most well-rounded products. Not too expensive, yet not lacking the things that makes quality subs great. If you want great sound quality along with a good deal of raw power, look no further than this subwoofer. I have two of them in my trunk and will be happy for many years to come.
I have this sub in the dual 2 ohm voice coil. it hits so hard beats out the w6 v2 by far on the same exact amp in the same car in the same box!
I have a 1983 Oldsmobile Cuttlass with 2 12's D6 dual 4 ohms. They pound so hard that the trunk looks like it's going to come off the latch and they are in a sealed box.
i purchased the speaker for the 1 time some odd years ago and in my whole life never have i heard such a clean filtererd sound just bought D612inch its sonuds sweet atleast 2 me wanted 2 hear D9 like but hey in bad predidament being low on funds but anyway good investment.
I HAVE 2 OF THESE SUBS ON A 1500.1 DIAMOND AMP. THEY HIT SO HARD I BLOW MY BOX APART AND HAD TO GET IT REBUILT. IF U WANT SOME MEAN BASE GET THESE AND THE 1500
I have two of these in an audio enhancers da box with two 1000 watt diamond amps in the back seat of my mustang they hit pretty hard. The only sub in the same price range that hits harder is probably the kicker cvx.
I have 3 of these Diamonds in my Ford Expedition. each in its own specially made box.. with ports, on all three. And It is the hardest hitting system in this town of about 100thousand people. The box makes the world of difference. And see im puttin close to a thousand watts RMS power, on each. . and it still gives it all it wants and then some. Definetly a great buy.
I have 2 of these subs in a 99 300m, custom plexi box, 1800 watt kenwood @ 1 ohm, 5 farad cap. bass dropped-rock chip instant spiderweb. Totally worth havin.
I have 2 diamond audio 12" sx 124 they are basically same subs. I have them in my 2010 Chrysler 300 in a custom ported box. Made from birch wood. I have them wired at one ohm, connected to a audiopipe apcl 1800-d1. Man these subs beat the block down. These are some of the best woofers I've ever had. I have everything on the amplifiers turned up halfway. They really can take more power. Buying these subs is not a waste of money. You wouldn't have to buy anymore.
