Clear bass...this is the one
I put 2 of these 12's with an 800 watt amp in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and it hits so hard that I can barely stand it. Diamond is the best.
this sub is a very smooth sub constant bass with no disstortion at all very very clean sub i would recommend to anyone ( i have one of these subs in a pro box and a 400 watt amp) sounds great very very good bass very loud
These are the best subs i have heard. I have 3 of these on a power acoustic 1200w amp in a 92 firebird. I would say this model is equal to a JLW6. i had 2 befor stolen and they were very equal in sound and Quality.
have 4 in custom bandpass box w/ 2000 w earhthquake high power. sounds good. loud but also clean
I have 3 of these subs in my Scion xB. They are they loudest entry-level speakers I have ever heard. I have owned JL, Kicker, and Rockford Fosgates in the past. I get comments all the time about the loudness and cleaness of sound that these subs produce.
These subs are extremely loud. I have two of these in my 1998 chevy s-10 and have two 400.2 Diamond amps pushing them. They are in a slot ported box that Diamond Audio recommended. Deep clean, bass and is The best sub for your money.
i have one of these in an integra gsr in the recomended ported box with a 4 inch flared port powered with a kenwood amp, 150rms x 2 running each coil seperately. even at 300 watts rms this sub in insane. the bass in so clear loud. in a ported box it isn't the fastest but it is soooo clear and never gets muddy. 300 watts is all i want, listening to a lil "blueberry yum yum" and my whole head goes numb, im afraid to go louder. for the price, you definately will not be disappointed, AWESOME!!
when it comes to diamonds im never dissapointed, i had two of these in a 4runner...hooked up to a 8o0watt kenwood amp and it was just amazing so loud u can barely stand it, if your looking for your money worth and something to turn heads when u drive by diamonds are the best you can go, plus i have tried to blow these, and its impossible i have cracked them to the middle and its incredible that they still played with out any annoying noise, i did not crack them from turning them up loud i actually hit them with a metal object on accident and cracked both of them and unlike any other subs once you break them either they dont play as well or they just dont play, these will last u a long time.
I just got 3 of these in my Tahoe to replace my Alpine type-R subs and so far so good. These subs match my Rockford 1000 watt better . Bass is deep and clean. Can't wait for them to break in so i can turn it up a knoch.
This is a great sub.......... I wish I would've went for the 15, but this just means I'll buy another 12 when I upgrade to a bigger amp. I have one sub powered by an Alpine amp at about 350 watts and the subs handle this easily.
i got 2 of these in my '92 camaro powered by a diamond audio 600.1 amp.....and man, do these things pound..... I got the bass and sub settings on the stereo in negatives...and it was starting to hurt my ears...then i also realized that i had the loud off on the stereo too....dont u just love makin car alarms go off??? trust me..this is the sub to go with
These are excellent subs, however they can be blown ,but it takes about 750 RMS watts in a ported box and 1000 sealed per sub. Extremely good sub, very capable, sounds good all the way to the limit. Just wished the limit was higher, then i found the M6
i had one of these in my s10, and i thought it was great, then i upgraded to 2 jl 10w1's which completely blow diamond out of the water. i never noticed how the diamond couldnt reproduce bass like jl. spend the extra buck and get 2 JL 10W1v2's powerd by Directed D600 @ 2ohms and you will never look back
I have a kenwood amp pushing 500 watts to one of these and it sounds consistently deep and clean.. definately great value, good quality at an affordable price
Well Check this out, i just got 2 of theese diamond 12's in my 04 mustang in a custom box, being pushed with a audio fonics 1500 watt amp, and i love them... I had the head unit on the negatives and i was still setting alarms off, if your looking for great price, great bump, and a headache. get these ones
i have 2 of these subs running on a kenwood 800w amp and you will not be dissapointed-- hits really, really hard, great price for subs of this quality
i recently bought two of these and stuck them in a custom built 1" thick mdf slot-vented enclosure with about 1.50cu. ft. per speaker...they are in an '03 taurus se...trunk dynamatted, on 4 ga. cables with a planet audio 1250.1 big bang, and its just as loud if not a smudge louder than my boy with 2 old school 12w6's in a sealed box with a autotek mean machine 1500.1 amp.....diamond is the way to go... I may upgrade to the d6's on my planet audio eventually, when i do i'll repost and let you know
I have 2 of the 2ohm version, they hit super hard when you first get them but when they break in they lose it and appear to need much more power. I switching them out because they suck on the super low bass notes, they hit really well on typical rap bass like lil jon.
I have 2 of these hooked up to a hifonics 2000w amp and they are killer. this is the second time i have owned diamonds. and for the money they are awsome. But the dustcaps dent easily, thats the only problem ive ran into. all in all a good investment.
Everyone needs to recognize that these woofers are exactly what they are. They are Diamond! they're great. We all like diamonds dont we ? Hahaha These are just as equal to All the killer name brands out there.
