These are one of the best sounding speakers for the money. What I really like about them is the the highs, mids and lows are really distinct when you hear them, hard to believe that they are all coming from a pair of 6x9s. I run them with a kenwood excelon KDC X789 head unit wihout an external amp. They sound great but to get the maximum performance out of these speakers I would recommend to run throug a good amp because they come alive only at around 75% of max volume. They have a really, really solid construction. You are really getting you money's worth with these set of 6x9s.
these in back with x1700p in front powered by fosgate 450.4 amp sound absolutely amazing.they produce decent bass but not shattering but they blend so well with my x1700p in front along with a excelon 12" sub in back powered by a 250.2 amp my car jams hard the best sounding car i've ever had.and rockford amps are the only way to go period.
These are great speakers. They sound fantastic even without an external amp pushing them. I am running them with Kenwood KFCx170 6.75 rear door speakers and thrugh a Pioneer 4900iB receiver. I can't wait to hear them once I install the Alpie MRP 300 4ch amp. Superb quality. I Highly reccomend this product.
I am very impressed with these. I just run them off my Kenwood deck (50Wx4) and they hit pretty hard. If you ran some power to these, they would bump. I mostly listen to smooth jazz, rock, and old school.
