I just installed these in a 1998 camry in the doors.These speakers sound great,very clear,good bass, and NO distortion. I am running them off the factory radio.A very good buy for $79.

I have these running in my rear of my Acura EL (civic ex). They sound sweet with my Nak deck. After sound deadening of course. I recommend these!

I've just installed these in my 2005 Silverado and they sound great. If they produced a little more bass I would have gave them a perfect rating. They're still a great speaker.

After researching 6.75" speakers I decided on the X170 and I'm very pleased. This is perhaps the only review by a grandfather you'll read! I've been a professional musician for over thirty years and I am very discriminating. I installed these in my granddaughter's Saturn SC2 with the original head unit and she is thrilled with the bass response. Now I know they don't have the "bump" of a subwoofer, but that option was cost prohibitive. For the money the X170 is an excellent choice. I am also very impressed with onlinecarstereo and how they treat their customers.
