Product Reviews For MTX TA2301

  • ok i got this amp hoping it would bump for the price and it does. its just got a very low sq quality. I have it powering 1 12" dual 4 ohm mtx 7500 series sub and i must say it does bump pretty well but, if there is a song that has say a double bass in it the amp can't keep up just not clean enough power. it will sound like you have your sub plugged to a ac outlet and trust me it doesn't sound to well. but for the money i guess its worth it but i'd say go to a JBL or alpine amp.

  • This amp is great if you have the common sense to match the rms rating of your sub with that of your amp. Don't be like Matthew from Michigan who seems suprised that the amps is not what he thought it would be after he paired a competition sub with one of the smallest class D amps that MTX produces...WTF. Seriously this is great amp if you want to drive a pair of 8s, pair of 10s, or even a single DVC 10 or SVC 12.
