Sadly we didnt buy this amp. from these guys and ended up paying about 220.00 for it, It is a very good amp, very underated too, I installed one in my brother's truck with a Polk momo 10" and its putting about 310WRMS to the sub. I highly recommend MTX to anyone.
The 2 channel defenitley has the power potential but gets much hotter than the mono mtx's and the push button crossover buttons tend to stick , It is an excelent performer when you get it dialed in but the remote gain knob is a real piece of junk ,it is a piece of metal and a rubber wrapped circut board not encased by plastic and looks horrible.
This Amp Exceeded the expectations of both myself and the client for whom I installed it. We put it under the rear bench fold-up seat of a 2006 Chevy Colorado. It is sizeable for a 250watt amp but fit nicely, make sure you measure first. I have it running a JL Audio 10WOv2-4ohm in a well built box with a Phoenix Gold 4 guage wiring kit. It sounds like 2 10's or a nice well powered 12" sub. We were both pleasantly suprised with sound quality, performance and power. I really like the fact that you can change the lighting to whatever color you desire. I didn't think I would care about this or it would be cheesy but its not. It's an unexpected bonus, and real cool at night. The Remote Gain Control adds a huge value so you can adjust bass while your driving for different songs without even taking your eye off the road! OCS is the BEST Value I have ever seen with great customer service, and I've installed Car Audio for over 10 years. This amp is a STEAL. You wont be dissapointed. I used the High-Level input and tapped into the rear speaker outputs for signal. Its nice that it turns on Automatically when it sees signal, No Remote turn-on needed so I didn't even have to remove the factory stereo. MTX is underrated and this amp sticks with that tradition. It is attractive cosmetically, designed intelligently and very easy to install. A+ product for the money.
