Best Speakers ever heard i have 4 of these bad boys and they acyuall pound i have a infinty amp just waiting to get my comp-vrs but mean while these thangs pound and are loud
i think this is a great speaker but i think infinity could have done better with the quality of the woofer. the tweeter on it is great but as i said the the woofer sucks, it carries no mids at high sound pressure levels
Fantasic speakers. I just replaced the 4 Profile 6.5inch speakers in my 95 civic ex with four new Infinity 6012i's. From the moment I listen to the first song i was totaly blown away by how clean the sound was. I am running them off an Audiobahn amp and have the HP filter at about 100hz and have my subs take over from there.Truely a massive improvement over my old "profiles". Even at high volume levels they provide crystal clear music which was exactly what I wanted and got.
These speakers are good. The tweeter is excellent and has this cool feature where u can rotate the tweeter 360 degrees to direct it at your ear, depending on where u mount the speaker. I have mine in the front doors with the tweeter pointing right up at me. Yeah, the bass sucks at high volumes when apmlified but that's wut subs are for. If u have subs, and need speakers to keep up, great value! Unless your trying enter a competition, no need to look past these coaxials. Oh yeah, the highs on this speaker are soft and clear, not highpitched and tinny. So your ears won't me ringing after u get out the car like JL Audios tweets. If connecting to your deck, keep the bass down and it'll sound awesome at near max volume. Anyway, great value, I'd buy again if they were to get stolen.
These are pretty good speakers. Im a harsh rater because i used to have the audi bose system and each speaker is component and 350 dollars per pair. These are almost a fifth the price and 2 way. The treble can be a little harsh but the sound quality is probably an improvement over the bose. Great speaker for the price.
These speakers did it for me. i have a 98 civic sedan and they work great for the front doors. best speaker for the money! it says this speaker doesnt fit my car but fit in great. no complaints about it. just click and buy
I have a 1993 Eddie Bauer Bronco with these in my front doors and the 6x8's in there rear and they flat out rock. Country to Rap they excell. They do distort at uber high volumes but your ears will bleed before you can get them to distort. Only downfall is you'll need a great sub. I run the 12" Kappa Perfect powered by a Kenwood 7202 wow its flat out bad. No one believes sound that good can be had for around 600 to 700 for the whole set up.
these are a really good speaker. but there is a few bad things about them the trebble can sometimes get a little harsh. second the rubber surrounds are very weak. I ran these 6.5 inch in my front doors and 6x9's in the back. hooked up to a high end 4 chanel amp pushing 40watts rms to each speaker. YES,it was very loud and the sound quality is awesome with ROCK music which i mainly listen too. But the other night i was showing my setup to my friends with some rap and i pushed these speakers a little harder than i should of. Later the next day a heard a slight rattle from one of my door speakers at a high volume. so i removed my door panel to see what was wrong. it turns out i ripped one of the surrounds from driving it too hard. i would not suggest using these with an amp.
These are one of the best 6.5 speakers for the money. They bass is a little weak at first but if you give them a couple of weeks to loosen up the bass does improve. The silk dome tweeters are very clear and smooth even at hi volumes. They play very loud and clear from just a radio. The speakers come with plastic and metal mounting rings and all the screws ,the only thing you will need is wires.
Theres no way these can run alone (without subwoofer) unless you only hear the news or audiobooks,, mid and high response are real great but needs lots of bass. Recomend only with sub .
