Product Reviews For Hifonics ZXi 4006

I bought this to power a set of Hifonics ZXi 6.5C components. Let me start off by saying this is the first Hifonics amp I've auditioned and it definitely won't be the last I buy. The amplifier drove the components with authority. The bass is solid and clear and the midrange and treble are as smooth as anything else I've heard. It never heated up or sounded stressed. The build quality is fair, the only annoying thing is that every setscrew requires a different size allen wrench, although supplied, makes installation a little more irritating. However, as far as performance and sound quality I'd rate it at the top of the pack with anything comparable in features, power and price. I highly recommend it as an alternative to the more costly main stream brands.
