Very sick for the price. Just hooked these up in my 85 Bronco, Driven by an orion 300W amp. Sound Quality goes up, When the volume does.
I have four of these in the rear deck of a 98' cadillac and i chose these over the type r's because the design in these allows for more high end rather than the smooth sound in the higher series. Good sounding speaker, very satisfied.
I have a set of these as my rear speakers in my 79 firebird, with a kenwood amp turned up to max, these two speakers vibrate my rearview mirror at 50 watts max per speaker!!!!
i have a set of these behind the rear seats of my 99 Camry as well as a set of SPS-600 in the front doors and the speaker sets sound great together using just the headunit, theres plenty of bass to keep me satisfied while listening to daft punk - alive 2007

these speakers are great. really loud. great bass. you can really crank these things. good deal too. i have them using just an alpine head unit with no amp and they are loud, the sound quality is great too.
