Radio Is OK It Does not Display Song Name For Mp3 CD, Mp3 Usb Flash Drive, Or Mp3 On An SD CArd Or Text CD On The Main Screen You Can Only See It If You Have A Monitor Connected. If you do have a monitor connected it only shows the first 8 letters of the song name. The Radio Does Not Display Time. User Manuel Is Not To Great. It Does Play Copied Dvd`s Thought It Plays All My DVD-R Copied Movies Great. The Sound Quality Is Above Average Compaited To Many Radios I Had In The PAst Including A Blaupunkt And A Pioneer. Overall A Good Radio But I Expected More Bells And Whistles. For The Price An Overall Good Radio. ALSO its 60WX4 Not 50WX4
After playing with my radio a while my views have definatley changed. You Can Play mp4 Movies and video clips from a cd or dvd mp4 is the same file type sony uses for the psp video. there is a program the will convert any computer video file to mp4 called pspvideo9. you can make MP3 cd`s or Dvd`s which is great since a dvd is 4.7 gig and can hold over 1000 mp3`s. you can also look at pictures from a picture cd , dvd of off a usb drive. You can also look at the pictures in a slide show by choseing random. it also lets you chose what effect you want while the pictures swithes either in manual or slide show. another great feature is if you have a digital camera with a sd card you can view the pictures from the sd slot on the radio the same way you do with the usb drive. all in all the more i play with it the more i like it. to bad the manuel doesnt tell you how to do these things.
I just installed this unit..has a lot of useful features....the display is kind of basic and difficult to read in sunlight but overall its a good value in my opinion thus far. The manual is very skimpy and I hope to figure out some of the feature in more detail at a later date...
