put this 12 in my car to replace my 1000 watt dual voice performance tech sub this bangs just as hard and i think even better im very happy with this im going to purchase another AAA+++
i have had these subs for about 2 weeks now and i am very impressed. i've had sony x plod's before. they were the very first pair i owned 3 years ago. i have these hooked up to a boss rt2500d amp. that is a monoblock and is 1500 watts rms@2 ohms. the gain is up about half way and they absolutely pound!!! no distortion what so ever, even on bass tracks. all my buddies thought @ first i had like some kicker L5's or something but just sony. so in my book WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!
This is a very good sub, I have two of them with a 1200 sony amp and it sounds nice a must have sub
Got this sub to replace a Dual 12". There is no comparison. For what I paid (less than 69 dollars) I cant believe the sound produced when pushed by my ORIGINAL Punch 200 bridged! Pick this one up!
I have owned alot of car audio in the past and just recently got back in to it after about a year and i bought a package for two 12's and a 1200 watt amp. and box.and belive me or not its the best ive had out of JL, kicker, alpine and audiobahn.
these things are super badass, i just bought some from here and it was the cheapest price. The p5's have such a deep bass, and hit harrrrrd. The two 12' p5's that i have beat out a kicker L5. So yeah go get this speaker. They're freakin ross!!
Pretty Bomb bass for what you pay for. Had 2 of these with the Sony 1000w amp which powered them fiarly well. Buy em if ur a first timer and/or on a tight budget.
i have two of these hooked up to a sony 1200 watt amp. i have never heard any better speakers. there are points in songs where i have to turn it down just so i can drive.
All i have to say is dont lisent to haters because there are many out there the subs are great for their price i got them for the red ones $48 dollars and the sound is great ia hve it hooked up to my 1200 sony xm-2002-gtr amp and to my cdxgt400 and i set off every alarm in any block the sound quality is great these subs kick real hard i personally believe they are better than kicker,mtx ,and many more.
Yeah these are pretty good i have 2 hooked up to a 1200 watt sony amp and they sound good.. I plan to get another 15 and another amp soon, Sony May be cheap, but they do sound great.
I have 2 of these being powered by 2 Sony 800w amps. It sounds amazing. I went to a car competition about a month ago and got first place in my class, which had 48 people. None of them thoguht it was Sony until i showed them.... I would HIGHLY suggest this set up to nevody who wants to be amazed.
Overall this subs are great, I have two of these powered by a 1600 watt amp and a 1.5 farad cap and the bass is realy loud, alarms be going off when I set the volume at 20 out 32, the quality of the bass is unbeliveable and the price is great Sony Xplod is the best sub for the price, I highly recomend this sub to anyone who wants hard hitting bass without compromising quality on a tight budget.
i have two of these subs in a custom ported box that's wired in a series and hooked up to a sony XM-1252GTR amp and these subs are BUMPIN hard, loud, and clean. My whole dash literally shakes up and down when it hits the low low bass. Very good subs for only 140$ a pair
Have a single ported box in my house, I have a friend 3 houses down complaining that items in there house fall off shelfves. Really good sub!!!
I have 3 of these in a sealed box hooked up to the old skool sony xplod xm-sd22x 2/1 channel all wired together in parallel with a kenwood KDC 568bu and it POUNDS!!!! Currently running it all on my factory stock planning on getting the big 3 in my 05 chrysler Sebring 4 door base model
