These came in my Civic when I bought it and even with a really nice head unit they sound awful. They start distorting at relatively low volume levels and there is ZERO bass. I gave it a 7 in the money value section because I guess you get what you pay for...
I BOUGHT APAIR OF THESE FOR MY 1999 ISUZU VEHICROSS SUV FRONT DOORS TO REPLACE THE KENWOODS I HAD IN THERE THEY SOUND MUCH BETTER I SUGGEST THESE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A GREAT SOUND FOR A GREAT PRICE YOU WONT BE UNHAPPY PICKUP A PAIR.
I have to disagree with Andrew. I have had these speakers for a year now and have had no problem with them. They sound good and clean and for the price you cant beat it.
When I bought these speakers and took them out of the box, I thought to myself "what have I done?" But I was amazed by the overall sound quality. These speakers are cheap and sound amazing.
When first looking at this speaker, I did not think they would be that good, but I was wrong. These speakers sound amazing. My sound quality has improved %100!!!
Best "cheap" speaker around. Extremely efficient, regardless of cost. Up to moderately loud levels it is really hard to criticize quality. Unfortunately, as volume is pushed faults become apparent: lisping vocals, unbalanced tonality (the highs get louder faster than lows), no bass (but this could be due to my jeep tj).
