This unit is the total solution for your car audio! if u need to start off with a good headunit this is the one to go with... everything is in there 5.1 decoder that improve dramatically your surround sound experience. A bit pricey for now but well worth it.
This unit is AMAZING! I was eyeing it for awhile but worried about the screen being so small and if my speakers would sound as good as they did with my other aftermarket head unit. No worries!! The speakers sound BETTER and this screen is BIG!! I was shocked at how nice this screen is. LCD TV baby. Awesome features on this thing too. Don't second guess buying this unit because it is great!

I recently replaced my stolen Sony with the kdx2, and was impressed with its visual quality in graphic detail, with the exception of why there is no screensaver or spectrum analyzer, so when you're not watching a video, its a somewhat boring display. But I'm convinced it could use an added crossover to its frequency dynamics. Can't quite dial in the overall bandwith and reproduce that punch my ex Sony had. Constantly adjusting the EQ. And for the remote, rendered useless, most of which you would need to pull over to even use. I've played in bands and have been mixing music way before mp3 was ever even concieved,perhaps a bit harder to satisfy, over all it's a good buy.
Dear God!!!!! this headunit couldn't be any better. The sound is more than amazing. Its a little pricey but worth every penny. i love the display and how easy it is to use. The perfect unit to build your surround sound system off of.
screens clear, a bit small though. pumps power to the speakers... clear sound quality... even if you got stock speakers... but i recommend that you upgrade all your components to get the full utility out of this head unit.
I bought a Used car equiped with this JVC HEad Unit. JVC would have never been my choice of Radio, but I was amazed by the sound quality of this system. REally a great value. The Screen is a bit too small but oeverall, it's a great radio to have even with Stock speakers!
I am blown away by the sound quality and picture clarity of this unit. It makes my stock speakers come alive each time! Pleasantly surprised!!!!!
great deck for the price sounds awesome in my tc with my soundstream tarantula and my 2 12" boston g2 subs. My biggest complaints are no usb port and its hard to control ipod. Other than that the screen is clear as hell. Overall gets my approval
This new jvc is awsome. It's a great look in my chevy impala. The pictures on the screen are so clear to say the screen is so small. Overall its a great deck for a great price.
I PURCHASED THIS UNIT FOR MY WIFE AS A MOTHERS DAY GIFT AND SHE LOVES IT. THE PICTURE QULITY IS GREAT, FUNCTIONS ARE SIMPLE, SOUND IS TERRIFIC. JUST WAITING TO HOOK UP AN AMP AND SUB TO COMPLETE THE TOTAL EFFECT.WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
I bought this unit about 6 months ago. I am very happy with it. It sounds really good. I have it going to an amp and sub and it sounds awsome. It also has a distinct look becasue it is bigger than most single DIN sized units. It looks great and the screen has great clarity for it's size. The ability to play MP3 DVDs is a great feature as well. Thats 2000 songs on one dvd. This is a great unit at a great price.
