I went from a Alpine head unit to this beast, and wow.. the SQ is so much better now. I was thinking of getting a amp at first, but now that i have this, i dont even care about the amp. It really cleaned up my sound. Its simple to use, really straight foward. Great head unit though, really solid. Kenwood did a great job with this one.
i have this head unit with some eclipse door speakers and a pair of orion subs. the sq is amazing have COMPLETE control with three crossovers controling front speakers, back speakers, and subs. AWESOME HEADUNIT
Great deck for the money. Very happy with it. If you're looking for sound quality isntead of all the graphic BS this is it.
Wow, Being a first time Kenwood buyer, I am truley impressed with this HU, It has lots of way kewl features. It does take a little bit of reading ( hence owners manual ) but, once you identify the features and how they apply to you. I know you will be as truley impressed as I was. I searched and reveiwed for a month then I decided on this one. If you want a top of the line HU that performs, look no further. Its also a good HU if you do not want all the jazz of the full 1064 color display HU's. All in all, sound improvement 100 %, features 95 % ( gotta learn em' all ) and overall 100 % - Give the Excelon KDC-X890 or KDC-X990 a try, you wont be let down ( NOT A BEGINNERS HEAD UNIT ! )
