these are good value for money with no amp. but to get the real power get an amp and your whole car will shake.
this is by far the best 6x9 I ever heard it make my hold trunk thump so I will be using these as mid bass buy them there wroth every penny and more
this is a case of you get what you paid for. these things are cheap and the sound quality is reflected in this. i also blew one of them up running it at 75w rms when they claim to be 200w rms. in my opinion complete rubbish. and the plastic is hideous
I would say if you have a proper deck these speakers are no problem. I believe the quality for the price you pay is well worth it. I had heart better but for MID bass it's more then what you pay for. So those who say they suck, maybe get a pro to install on your car or stop buying $80 piece of SH** decks.
Bought this, last week, got them in an '09 Corolla Sedan, and the parcel shelf is so shaky... Although I got sent a pair, one of the speakers's tweeter was broken, but I glued it back on with SupaGlue. Overall, you can REALLY HEAR the difference, if you got them in properly, I got them surrounded by dynamat, and they are pretty much screwed into it, so... I donnu for those who just screw them into bare metal... Overall, for very cheap, it's an exceptional buy for people on a budget, not looking for a lot :) I Recommend.
