I have these 6.5" speakers as well as the 4" speakers in my geo prism. I have installed them and they do sound good under low volumes but they get scratchy at high levels. I only have them running off a Pioneer 3000IB but they require more power even though they are rated low in output. The sensitivty is below what a person would need for low powered system ie; factory or aftermarket head unit (no amp) so if you get these (for the money get them!) add an amp to them and they will rock! They have good bass response and mids and highs once you hook the amp up to them. I had an amp to them but I burnt it out (it was old)
I Just Put These In My 1985 200sx With A Pioneer Head Unit And They Sound Awesome. I Would Buy Them Again, The Only Thing Is The Mounting Depth Make Sure You Have Enough Room
really good speakers i put them in my 96 chevy truck had to make quarter inch spacer so they would fit but they sound great on my pioneer in dash unit so make sure you have plenty of room
Can't complain about anything. I've always liked RF products. The mid bass has a strong muscular feel to it, no wimpy mids. Softer highs than most brands I've owned, definitely not harsh. At this price they are impossible to beat.
