These speakers are the bomb! The sound Quality is very good you would think that they were infinity or jl audio. And they handle 80 watts rms/160watts peak so you'll have plenty of room for input power. Right now I just have them powered by my pioneer head unit. I cant wait to hear how they sound with them amped.
In my honest opinion I regret purchasing these speakers. The sound of these speakers pretty much suck in my opinion. The tweeters get very scratchy at about 1/2 to 2/3 volume on my Clarion DXZ655MP. I am quite confident that my installation is fine, these are just not quality speakers in my opinion. I would say save your money and get a better brand name such as Alpine. After having these audiobahns in for a little while I purchased some Alpine 5"x7" for my rear deck and I was completely amazed of the pure clean sound coming out of them. Audiobahn "looks cool" but that's about it. Overall I would not reommend these speakers.
I have these in the front doors of my 94 toyota corolla, with the tweeters flush mounted on the door sails. they sound amazing.
