I have 2 of these in a stereo in my house on a home built 600 watt amp in a sealed box, and sound quality is actually better than my MA's which are 600 watts a piece. They hit very hard, very satisfied with kicker!!! :]
i have 4 of these in my 91 fleetwood brougham being run by two punch 3002 amps and for so little money it can knock your teeth loose! i recommend these to anyone looking for a lound reliable sub on a budget.
If your lookin for something that hits hard with good SQ and not a whole lot of money..these are nice little subs..ya know only 150W RMS but hey..$70. cant really complain..Way to go Kicker!
i have two of these in my 2000 blazer. I have a crunch 1000 watt amp run them pushing about 400 watts a speaker. they are really nice speakers and will hold a lot of power for little money in the right set up these speaker will rattle you brain out
First time KICKER owner. I have 3 of these in my GMC Jimmy, sealed box. I'm pushing them with an autotek sx1200x. Man do they hold power and sound great. before this i had 2 Memphis M3's, so i was nervous getting these. Don't regret getting them at all. Like john said, right set-up, they'll rattle your brain. lol.
i have 2 of these in my Honda accord and people say that they can hear me 4 blocks away. IF you have the right set up, they will pound. Trust and believe that you cant get better speakers at this price.
For the price you cant go wrong. I have two in a vented box in my cavy. My mirror fell off and I have permanent brain damage. Man they pound!!
I have two of these hooked up in a Ford F-150 with a performance teknique amp they slap hella hard good price for them. KICKER!!!
These subs really pound for the price. Got two in a sealed box. Each sub has 1.3 cubic feet per a chamber. Powered buy a 2000 watt boss audio sub wired to two ohms with 700 rms watts. Buy atleast a kicker 400.1 amp and you wont be disappointed.
Man i bought these subs thinking they werent going to Hit so hard.....But man with the Mono 300zx Amp THESE THINGS HIT !! trust me if its your first sound system like mine go Kicker and get these subs
this is the first time i have been dissapointed with kicker and it is all i have ever owned,i remember how excited i was when kicker started making amps i havent owned anything else and probably wont but as for these subs i definately wont own another set L5s or L7s yes but these no
i have 2 of these in a massive box they sound great but i cant turn them up that loud they bottom out to easy but if you like a lil bit of bass these are great
I have 2 of these 2 12's they hit ok i have them runin off of a kenwood 820w amp i had 2 kenwoods they hit way freakin harder than these they was all so 1200w and these are only 300w but you would thank that kickers would hit harder but not these, i'll get some other shit maybe the kenwoods i had or better kickers thats wack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have one of these in a sealed box in a 97 blazer and it hits pretty hard hooked up to a power acoustik 820watt amp...next thing is to get a ported box
i have 4 of these 12's with an 1800 kenwood mono class d amp did not hook them up yet but need some advice do i just need this one amp or should buy another 1800 kenwood hit me up at noelh78@yahoo and let me know but i hooked them up to an house system and hit hit hard
i just bought 4 of these sub and i am running two sony 1200 watt amp at 8 ohm they hit hard. however they dont have the power handling like my old 12" dubs or the excursion. i do like the fact they like a small box. overall good buy for a beginer or some one if not a lot of cash
Great bang for the buck, No Doubt! As several of the others have said here, if you have the right setup, these speakers are great. I personally have a small car (Saturn SC2) and with these speakers in a XScorpion ported box int he trunk with a simple kicker 150.2 (60x2 and 4Ohms) they would still hit hard enough to slightly blur your vision. I am starting to upgrade and I am putting a Kicker ZX300.1 on these to give them the 150 watts each that they want and Sound Dampening the whole car body and trunk. I will post again in a week or so to report on these after I complete the upgrade.
A great Sub and good value for money I had them for 2 years using a lanzar 2100 optidrive amp briged 200 rms a 4-0hm. it rocked better them my friends pioneers SVC. Kicker livin loud, Would highly reccomend themwould sound even louder if you use a bigger amp 500 RMS. Use a ported box for it to breath better.
these are nice subbs i was putting 1000 watts to the pair with no problem
theses are great subs for the cost i had 2 12s in a huge box they had about 2cuft per sub they are i loud i hit 127db with them you could hear me from a long ways away
These subs are very underated putting 1300 watts into with ease. Great budget subs with great boom for your buck. Will not be disappointed at all!!!
I have 2 of these on a 300w Kicker amp wired down to 2 ohms and they hit hard!!! YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH KICKER!!!
i got 2 of these in seal box in my trunk with a 760w pioneer amp. im goin to need alot of dynomat. great subs
I got 3 of these things in my cherokee, powered on 2500 watts rms. I be slappin down the sreet!!
I had one of these hooked up to a kicker zx.300 amp in the back of my 98 cutlass. knocked the rust right off the frame! made my own box and it hit harder than the mtx i have now, not to mention hardly any distortion. these sound excellent with any type of music. i would recommend these to anyone who wants a great subwoofer. i am definitely getting rid of my mtx and replacing it with a kicker!
