i have 2 of these wired to a kicker zx 300.1 mono amp and it sounds really good. i might have needed the 750.1 to get full potential out of them but they sound really good and no problems out of either the amp or the woofers. great buy!
I have two of these Comps, each in its own sealed 1.0 CF box. I currently have them hooked up to a Pioneer GM-5300 amp. For the money, you get rubber surrounds, decent magnet size, really nice connectors (no soldering or crimping necessary), and they play nice and low for 10s. The bass is TIGHT, not sloppy, and it's not taking up my whole trunk. Tried one in my 4th order bandpass box and it made a little more noise, but still not too sloppy. They seem happiest in a sealed box, but they will be fine in just about any enclosure. Perfect if you like it strong enough to rattle, yet tight enough to hear details. These subs are overkill for the average listener...which is a good thing.
I have two of these in a ported box with a Kenwood KAC-8104D powering them. These subs are amazing for the price! I had a 15 in a ported box and these would easily eat it up. They hit nice and hard, and are tough as nails, you can blast these things all day long and they'll just keep asking for more. I would highly reccomend these subs!!!!!
I have 2 of these in my 190e hooked up to a 1500w monoblock crunch and they rattled my third brake light off, i get sound complaints from my neighbors all the time these things rattle like crazy.
i got 2 of these yesteday and hooked them up to a hifonics txi4008, giving each sub 200 rms at 2 ohms ina a sealed box. all i could say was dang, but couldnt hear myself say it. everyone was askin what kinda 12s i had. no complaints, these are the best inexpensive thump on the market. id buy these again and again. hit the highs and lows perfect.
Have got 2 of this sub and they hit and hit hard I have each hook up too there own kicker 750x1 and they want more you cant kill these subs. They are a great buy even better in there r buy one and get one free.
Great subs. Just got these installed today. Really add to the overall sound of my truck.
i love these subs. i recently bought 6 of them off this site and i also got 2 groundshaker ported boxes. these subs bang as long as u got enough power to them
i have two of these in a o1 regular cab silverado. the boxes are .80 cu ft a piece which i built with a friend. they are facing the rear of the cab powered by a kicker zx300.1 my gain is half way up and it flexes the cab between the bed. u dont need a 750.1 to make these subs hit really hard you just need to know how to hook them up at a 2 ohm load
HOLY SHIT!!!! I have had a few subs, and by far this one hits the hardest. Before this I had a Rockford fosgate 10 inch p2 sub and i thought that was awasome until i fried my voice coil. the price for this sub is awsome and it hits like a bitch! I was able to drowned out a 15 inch
to Vance do you even know what a low note is? There is no way your sealed pos box is ever going to hit a low note with these pieces of garbage.. upgrade to american bass with a slot port box and you will find out
i bought one of these yesterday and i have it hooked up to my sslf4oo this sub sounds so good in my dodge van i might purchase another just so the police can really complain lol
I got two of this in my 96 altima and they hit prety clean, I have two pionners impp and two sony xplodes abd connected them to my car to see which sound best, the kickers hit the cleanest.
i put two of these in by wife's mustang on a alpine v-power 350.1 class d wired at a 2ohm load. she made me take them out because they hit to hard for her. bought a memphis 10'' and it doesnt hit as hard and she wants the kickers back.
These subs NOCK, i have them in a 96 civic lx and it rattles, right now they are hooked up to a POS dual amp, but when i hook them up to the powerbass thats powering the subs in my truck, they rattle your brains loose, but it is a very clean sound. i am pushin 400 watts rms with the PB amp and they do not complain. go with a sealed box. they will knock harder then a pair of MTX jackhammer 12s in a g6 pushing 1800 watts love the way they look as well easy to install as well
i have to of these in a becut box for 4 10s hooked up to a 1000 watt kenwood monoblock amp and they r slamin
these were the first subs i purchased. Got two of them and they were more then worth the buy. when it comes to the kicker comp subs you can't go wrong. They are amazing for the price!
I had two in a down fire sealed box in my 2004 silverado ex cab they hit so hard so hard the roof of my truck would bounce. worked very well with my 800 watt interfire blew when i hooked up my 2000 watt mono block class d performance technique.
I have 4 of these in my single cab toyota, pushed off a 1000 watt kicker amp. With the kenwood tweets you know. I be slumpin' down da block!!
i have 2 of this subs in dual sealed truck box at 1.19 cu ft per side wired in parallel down 2ohms with an alpine mrp500 amp this subs have good sound quality deep crisp bass great subs for a low price verry happy with this subs
This is a great subwoofer for the money. Friend had them in a sealed box powered by a class AB Sony amplifier. They sounded nice until the volume was really high, 23 out of 32. They are more spl than sq.
