Product Reviews For Boss Audio BV4250

  • I was looking for a dvd player for mp3 playback so that I could essentially put nearly my entire collection on a single disk. While the bv4250 will play mp3 from a dvd is can do so only sequentially. This is also true for cd and sd-cards. Except for cd, the bv4250 will not 'remember' the last song played so be prepared to skip forward through what could be a lot of songs. Also, when the last file or cd track is finished playing the bv4250 will simply stop. The sd-card slot is behind the faceplate which is not very handy. And if loaded, delays player start up while the card is scanned for files. The front a/v port is nice but with no pre-amp you'll have to crank up the player volume. Having replaced a stock toyota radio I was not impressed with the audio quality.
