Product Reviews For Phoenix Gold RSd10d

  • I just installed a pair of these (3/30/07) and they're a solid performer. The bass is clean, tight, and warm without being muddy. If you want to set off car alarms a block away, these aren’t the speakers for it. But if you want good clean sound at normal listening levels and when it's time to crank it these speakers can do both. All that being said I don't think I'm going to stick with these. The PG Titanium 10d's I had before these were still the best sounding subs I've had in a long time. I think I'm going to have to get a replacement for my bad one. The power handling of those bad boys is more of what I need to get the most out of my JL 1000/1.

  • just stuck a pair of these in a tuned vent box (4/20), with 200rms per speaker and they are impressive. they are 13.5mm xmax, and pick up lower frequencies (less than 35hz) very well. next step is going to be more power because they can handle more, like 350-400rms. Overall, if you're looking for SPL this is not the driver, but for wide range response at decent db levels these are great.

    I love the bass
