Product Reviews For SoundStorm F65C

  • I wasn't expecting much when I purchased these to replace the factory door speakers in my '96 Escort. I WAS WRONG. These are some of the cleanest, clearest speakers I've ever heard. The 6.5's pound out bass while the tweeters scream. I've recently added the matching 5x7's and a SoundStorm 400-watt amp to the et-up and the whole system sounds awesome. You can not beat these components for the money. They would be a bargain at twice the price!

  • I've got a 2004 VW Passat with the monsoon system. The rear doors have higher powered subwoofers that are known for blowing out. I've got a JL w7 already but needed rear speakers so I bought these. The picture doesn't show but it comes with tweeters too. The speakers give alright bass, but I wouldn't recommend these if you WANT MORE BASS. I turn the high pass filter on my headunit on since I've got a 1000W sub so I don't require it, aside from that, the mids and highs sound amazing from this pair! Just beware of the bass, it tends to bottom out!

  • installed to replace the factory Infinity component speakers in a 00 Dodge Durango. Great sound for the money. can't beat the value. Did have to make my own mounting brackets to get the woofers to mount to the factory spacers that are required to clear the window inside the doors. Would have beeen nice to have known this ahead of time but overall great value and better than expected sound quality.

  • Just a heads up, the crossover is hardwired. you cannot change the wire. the wire leading to the tweeter is about 8 to 10 inches long and the wire to the mid-bass is around 16 inches long which may cause placement issues. The wire leading to the source is only long enough to connect it to a radio. If you plan on running these off an anmplifier you better be ready to splice in extra length. I havent installed them yet so I'll have to update you later on sound, the tweeters do have a lot of install and mounting options.
