Overall I am satisfied with this product. i dont know if its just me trying to overload them, but they dont like those really low ackward tones. They hit hard, sound good, and perform well. To be as nice as they are they have a subtle look, which i like, and seem to be a durable, good quality product
seen me a book insaid speakers, and sobwoofers.
ok sub, def not bad and good for beginners. not something to set off car alarms if thats what your expecting though.
These subs are pretty good i had 2 of them with a 1000 watt kenwood amp in my nissan pickup and they would rattle my mirror off and hurt my ears but then i hooked up an 1800 watt kenwood amp and after about a month it fried one and the other one is still fine im not sure what happened. Worth the money but i suggest spending the extra money and getting something better. Im not sure what to do with the fried one if i can return it or not
just got them but sound alright.. bumped pretty good for ur money
i have one of these in my car they sound good hit good but could go for alil more money for something better but overall i like it!!!
Pretty Clean Hits Hard in the right box. Not incredibly loud!
Amazing sub for the price, but I made the mistake of ordering it from Crutchfield before discovering OCS. Hooked up to an Alpine MRP-M500 amp at 2-ohms this thing can pound pretty good and doesn't take up too much space while retaining a decent frequency range for a sub of this size and price.
Good for first time sub buyers, I had two hooked up to a mrp m1000, ended up frying one. Recommend it for someone driving an suv b/c you don't have to keep it in a closed trunk so you don't lose loudness.
I bought this sub to replace a 10" blaupunkt that blew. I bought only 1 and a planet audio AC1200.2 amp. at first I had it wired at 8ohm then the other day i wired it to 2 ohm. either way it has pretty loud bass compared to what i had, minus the fact that i just has a 200x system before. this rattles the windows on my house. although it doesnt get the deep notes in some rap i listen to its perfect for all the metal. GREAT investment for the money I plan on buying another one soon.
I have 2 of these sws 1243 d. in my grand Prix. They are in a ported box with 1.5 cu ft powered by a Kenwood kac performance series amp. I tested it with the meter and am getting 255 watts to each sub. I have a new Alpine head unit powering the amp and the subs. I wired the subs to 2 ohm's and I was seriously suprised of the amount of bass Im getting out of these alpines. I previously had 2 jLw3 subs wich are great powered by a rockford fosgate p 500 and the alpine kenwood setup is about the same bass. The alpines are hitting hard enough to hear from 4 blocks away. That is a true statement we have tested it. Anywaty I didnt expect to buy the alpine subs or the kenwood amp. I heard a system in a car with the same system and it hit incredibly hard for what it was. check out the Kenwood amps also much better than I expected. Never a drop in power and do not heat up because of the dual cooling fans. anyway great subs for the money.
This is a very good intro 12 inch sub. It hits very well with a 5 channel amp, 250 to the sup. Not sure of the alpine model but it is a recent d rated amp and very efficient. If you need more, you are deaf and it won't really matter what you listen to.
