Great Stereo!! You'll love the color screen and the simple contols. The only down side is theres no CD Player, although this really isn't a problem dont over look this when you are buying. The sound quality is also good but at high volumes it gets kind of fuzzy ( nothing some amps wont fix) But all And all great deck i recommend!! you cant go wrong with this one!!
i recently purchased this HU and i am very happy with it. it works perfectly with the ipod and you can switch the colors to match your other dash lights. my only complaint is that it has no high/low pass filters and a weak equalizer compared to my old pioneer but just tune that stuff on the amps and its all good
Great stereo, looks good, sounds awesome, only downside is jogging through 3000+ songs is slow don't try to do it at 100mph rolling a bone
well, i just installed this stereo in my '01 isuzu rodeo, and it rocks! i always thought that my kenwood component speakers sucked. as it turns out, my factory stereo just wasn't providing enough power. now, they slam. the fact that it doesn't have a cd player is fine, i never leave home without my ipod anyway. plus i don't have to worry about some chick hopping in my car and putting one of HER t-pain cd's in MY stereo. it's a good idea to plug in your ipod AFTER you turn on the stereo because a surge may short out your ipod. it happened to me, but, i resetted the pod and it was fine. all in all, it's a wicked cool stereo.
if your an ipod fan, this is by far the best deck to buy, you don't have to carry a case full of cd's, cuz you'll know it's a b...h to try and switch beetwen cd'd while on the highway, never been happier with a deck as i'm with this one, sounds good looks great :)
Great Unit! The sound is amazing and you will love the iPod integration. Couple of tips: Create playlists so that the style of music you want that day is quick and easy to get to. To use a CD without paying for Alpine's CD changer, simply buy the $20 KCA-121B cable. You can play any audio output device (Walkman, portable DVD player, etc.) through the unit. Cheers!
