Very nice amp. I have this powering my JL 10w7 in my tahoe and it is simply amazing. The power coming from it is very clean and is always consistent. I would reccomend that you buy the bass knob to get your "custom" listening preference.
Great amp . Very clean hard hitting bass. Performs better than my old Rockfords t10001bd . Most places are charging over a dollar a watt for JL slash amps and i see why . OCS , great deal , don't hesitate , snatch it .
I have this amp and a JL 12w6v2, and the combination is insane in my truck! I used to have a nice Alpine amp with the same rms rating and it didn't sound half as good or was half as loud. I've never notice with other amps the difference in quality when you crank it up until I got this one. This is the best amp you can buy and it will make any sub sound a lot better. Plus OCS has it for a steal.
Best Amp out there sure its a little pricy but its JL and its def worth the money and eventho it says 500 watts rms i personally think its a lil more cuz i got it pushing 2 jl 12"w3v3's and it puts way too much power to them but overall a damn good amp
I change my MTX sistem for jl audio i have this amp w/2 10w3v3-2 and eminence speakers in the doors and the sound is perfect,clean and deep i have space for other 2 12w3 i hope i put very soon. thak's jl for made this products
I have this amp in a mazdaspeed6 pushing one mtx dual ohm 7500 12" in a custom made box absolutely crushing bass with windows up i still shake the street. My alpine wasn't even close to this
I just got this amp, replacing a TMA 500/1 amp. This things got BALLS!!! Im pushing two kicker comp. VR12's like there's no tomorrow. This is truly a great amp.
Very impressive 500 watt amp! Running 5 JL audio 8" w3 in sealed truck box that fits in f-250. Very loud and accurate.
Got this bad-boy pushing 2 10W1v2s in a standard cab Sierra. It doesn't miss a beat and will play undistorted at any volume. I'm just hoping it doesn't shake my doors off!
the r. I.p.s makes all the difference when paired with the bass control this amp gives you. almost no system will push an amp to its full potential due to lower than 14.4v to the amp. this amp doesnt need that so the 500w is the real thing, makes my 12w6v2 sound great, if you want a jl sub make sure you have money for this amp as well. jl subs need the clean power that this delivers
if this hands like its big brother 1000/1v2. I'm bout to get two of these amps. One for my girls car for her 2-12"diamond D3's.And one for my cusin's 2-15" kicker comps.
i got two 500 monos pushin 2 brand new w6's.... Im 17 and there no other system around that can even compare. Kids tell me they hear me comin and know its me without even looking.
this is the best amp in the world! jl has the best amps. i hit 134.6 with 2 rockford fosgate shallow mount 12" p3's in a single cab s-10 with this amp. worth every cent
I LOVE this amp!! I have it hooked up in a 92 integra with 4awg pushing a 10 jl w6 and OMFG this thig hits hard!it never gets hot no matter how long and loud I push it. STRONGLY reccomend this amp!!!!
Amazing amp! I have one of these pushing a single 10 jlw6 and it hits hard and very clean in the back of my little 92 teggy. It hasent had any problems overheating on my daily 55 mile comute (and it gets played F*&%$N loud)I love this thing a little pricey but you get what ya pay for, also take a LOOK at TMA GREAT stuff!!!
I have this hooked up to a JL W3 18 and it might be too loud, overall an awesome amp. has a lot of settings to mess around with on the back so much power. Be careful
best amp i have ever owned bought it for 50 bucks lol the idiot thought it was 500 watts. i have it pushing my alumni 12in 2 ohm subs sealed. never gets hot and always pushes hard you just need to make sure you have a sub that can keep up. i also have the 300 slash series bought that for 30 buck same dude lol
had this amp using 2 12"w3v3's, it was amazing, i recently bought 2 12" type r's and was little unsure if it could push them. Its nearly twice as loud. I would put this amp up to anyones non-JL 1000 watt amps!
I bought this amp to push my JL8w7 the combination of these two it's SICK it's so loud it feels like your ears drum are going to blow! best amp ever!!! if your thinking to buy your thinking to much,strongly reccomend this amp, it worth every cent.
i've had this amp pushing 2 xplod 12's.... blew them....had 2 kenwood excelon...blew then too...w i got 2 jlaudio w3 12's..w they beat tha whole block down... If you really get this amp i recommend you get subs with a high rms cuz this amp has sum serious power..next set im doing is 2 12 inch db drives..w thats comp for you..body wanna see my honda system for system.... I go hard and makem go home..SPL
i have 2 this little toys in blazer 1999 pushing 2 12w3-2 each amp and the power its more clear deep and strong i recommend this products
I have this amp running my JL 10W6v2 single sub in a sealed enclosure I built to JL specs. I have the amp mounted below a false cargo floor I made in my 05 grand Cherokee. I set the gain using a volt meter like JL recommends and its set all the way down, and pushes alot of power. I feel this amp stands above most other amps as it does actually put out the power its rated for, and can put out way more power if needed. The amp has never shut down or overheated all last summer being in a confined space with driving 3+ hours with the system turned up full volume. Having this amp over a year now, I feel it will last many more years and worth the money.
This is the best amp in the world...This amp produces real rms power with clean clean clean deep bass...Well worth the money.... I have owned two of the old 500/1 slash series and wow..w i have the new 1v2.... I love it...except onlinecarstereo took my serial number off of my box and amp and the allen head screws for the subwoofer connectors strip very easily so dont tighten them down too hard.... I hope they didnt sell me a fake...ugh...other than that it provides alot of clean power.... If you want a amazing quality system with loud and clean deep base buy one of these amps and two kicker cvr twelves... Its a perfect match.. i swear....unless you wanna proffesional system with jl w7s and 1000 1v2 a capaciter lots of dynamat and about 2500 dollars...but for my budget pounding system you can hear me from a few blocks away for about 600 to 800 dollars......
I have this amp on a 12" Alpine Type R and it pushes that sub perfectly with no distortion whatsoever. I drive 40 minutes to work and slam the entire way and this amp never gets hot. Definately the best amp I've ever owned
I have this hooked up to two kicker comp vr's at 2 ohms it moves them real well people dont believe i have two 10's
i have this amazing amp on my w7 10 people think i have two 15's
This amp power is rated like the HULK, pushing 4 12's Kicker Comps in a customized box in my extended cab, excellent power and driving my subs hard, rattling all the windows. I have had no problems.
