I have 2 of these in that back of my 2002 Ford Mustang, it is an amazing sub, extremely loud and overall insane. Best bang for the buck, forgot about jlaudio and rockford fosgate. GO KICKER!
They get very loud and create tremendous SPL, especially the bigger 18, but these subs are notorious for being inaccurate and unreliable. It won't play the full range, let alone with clarity, and the quality is sub-par for a nearly $1000 woofer. An SPL woofer all the way, but in my opinion, your money is much better spent elsewhere.
BEST SUBWOOFER EVER! I have two Solo X 12" (sub box tuned to 44hz) with 2 KX2500.1 hooked to them and I have not lost any competitions yet. I've been in the SPL competition for well over 10 years and there is nothing out in the market that could beat this BEAST!...period
This is probably the loudest subwoofer i have ever heard... The hit extremly hard, but they are not really reliable. I have had 2 and they always seems to mess up or something. Other that this is one loud ass speaker!!!
I had one of these 12's in my 99 Suburban LT. It's defenitely the loudest single sub I have heard. I currently own two 10 inch Kicker Solo X sub's. Buy this sub!
this is the sickest sub on the planet hoook it up with a 3332 gerger amp 2000 watt def worth it
i have 6 of these in my 2008 nissan altima and i shttered my glass with them these are the best subs
randy 7 wouldnt fit in a altima XD not enough space to let the speakers breath
I have two of these subs powered by 2 memphis mojo's 4000 watts each in my 87 suburban.all i can say is I AM THE SOUND SHOW KING. i set off company alarms when i ride by. If you have the money this is the way to go
I had 4 of these in the back of my nissan and i could not even believe the bifferance between them and my klcker comps needlesws to say i am back woth my kicker comps and i sold my four for 200.00
I'm not going to write a numerical value, but "concerned coustomer" I would wonder how many watts of power were put to these four SoloX woofers you had. The people that talk about them not being accurate are correct. You have to realize that these woofers are not designed for daily drving, they are designed as an SPL woofer. I agree with Cory, seven wouldn't fit in an Altima unless you walled it. Bout the only thing I've heard that puts Kicker to shame is Treo. I even run an L7 12 running with 1330 RMS to it as a daily driver. I'll take Treo over anything else.
This is a amazing sub even when its not fully powered. although it will hit lows like no other, the highs are NOT good. so if your looking for a sub that his higher notes, do NOT get this. other than that. amazing subwoofer.
I will have to agree with JB. However JB I wuoldnt put any stops on the solo-X. I have one 12" and the possibilities of getting an 18". I never really heard of Treo but I will research for my self.As for the concerned customer? How in HELL could you sell the X's? I love the comps but you'd been better off keeping at least one or two! Space for subs to perform is paramount! not how many you have! I put my one 12" up against 4-15"L7's and took them on from a suburban!I had a 98 civic, and now a 95-neon! Look at your enclosure as well It makes a difference buddy! Solo-X is only a SPL woofer but you can play it at normal(SQL) if you stop flexing too much, lls! I agree with Cory! 7-solo-x's? OH HEY'LLL to da Naw WRONG MOVE! Mr. Knight good choice dude Jack? Good choice!
