These speakers are great for the money. Clearly they are not gonna have the sound quality of focal, but these, with adequate power, are probably twice as good as 2-ways. Have them amped with kicker zx350.4 (60rms) and will get louder than you will ever listen to them. Buy these here at a steal and you wont be dissapointed.
These are the best quality component Speakers that I have heard, Focal speakers are good but these Alpine's are louder and better quality in my opinion. However I would like to see them have a 30-50 watt increase.
First off, the speakers sound great when they work. I'll give them that. But within the first twenty mins. of hooking up the speakers, the driver side woofer started rattling. Wasn't a big deal at first and decided to just keep the speakers instead of trying to return them, which I probably wouldn't have been able to do anyways because of the return policy. So now two months later, the passenger speaker is rattling and I am very disappointed in them. These speakers are powered by a Kicker zx350.4 amp and should last much, much longer than they have. Have Alpine SPR two ways in back and those are running strong still. Glad I at least did not have to spend retail on them, but will be buying speakers from local shops from now on so I don't have to worry about returns and being out of the money I paid for them.
