bought two sets at local certified kicker retailer. installed by me, went with these cause they were affordable and small. used one set for a my GR, "ghetto rigged" surround sound for my gaming computer. and the other set went into my granny car. gave me earshattering highs and new life. i listen to ALOT of techno so highs are a must! The great thing is these speakers DONT need a seperate amp to sound better. Has more *punch* than a 6 1/2" 2-way rockford also!!!
I bought these and a set kicker 5 1/4 to improve my Toyota 4runner's sound system. They have very night highs and mids but no real bass. But that doesnt matter cause I have Subs. For the money they are great I have to fade my radio to the back because just the highs alone will have my ears ringing. No amp needed to power these speakers I have a JVC head unit that is 20 watts X 4 rms and it pushes them no problem. The 5 1/4 are also good too...
